New Year's Eve alone

This year I'm spending my New Year's Eve on my own, not by choice. Although it's not a new experience for me, since I grew up in a conservative house that despises everything that comes from the world, or what ever that means (I never really understood this expression). However, I traveled to my grandma's town, expecting to be with my cousins and aunt, but a very unfortunate thing happened to my dog and I must take care of her. I'm not complaining about that, seen her get better every day makes all the time I'm spending with her worthy.

So this year it is just me and my senior dog with a broken leg. My plans? Making everything as comfortable as possible for her not to be disturbed by the fireworks and putting on a nice movie or write something, maybe both (I'm always multitasking). Or work a bit more in my new year resolutions, reflecting on everything that happened in 2024 and thinking about what I wish to keep or change.

If you're reading this, Happy New Year, and I hope 2025 will be a great year for everyone.
